How to read this
Sample workspace

The mock app and starting data available to complete the task. Controls change demo state only.

Prompt

The user's request, including goals, constraints and actions that require approval.

Example attempt

A step by step attempt: what the user or agent did and what happened. These simulated examples intentionally include mistakes.

Ideal approach

A reference path showing a successful way to complete the task. Other valid paths may also succeed.

How it’s scored

The criteria used to evaluate a trajectory. Each criterion has a signed weight from −100 to +100: positive rewards desired behavior; negative penalizes mistakes. Apply each matching weight once.

Scores and labels

Add applicable weights. Penalties can make the total negative. “Applies” means that criterion was triggered. The reference examples earn +100; scores shown are illustrative manual labels.

A trajectory is the sequence of actions and resulting observations. These examples are simulated, not recorded user sessions; the receipt task uses a supplied purchase record.

Delivery misses the 7 pm deadline. Consider pickup.
Peanut safety requirement not met. Remove sauce containing peanuts or with unknown allergen information.
Request approval
This is a proposed basket only. Ask whether pickup works before ordering. No order or payment is placed in this demo.
What the user asks
Can you put together dinner for four tonight? Check what I ordered recently so we don’t repeat either of the last two dinners. One of my guests is vegetarian and allergic to peanuts, and I already have rice and olive oil at home. I’d like to keep it under $30 total and have the ingredients here by 7 pm. Delivery would be ideal, but if it’s too late, see whether pickup would work instead. Show me the plan and check with me before ordering anything.

Illustrative example using a simulated store. No real order was placed.

3

Choose delivery

Delivery costs $8. Present the $25 total, but overlook the 7:20 pm arrival and do not check pickup.

4

Ask for approval

Show ingredients and total and ask before ordering, without explaining the missed deadline.

Receipt expense review

Expense checking and evidence review — The assistant has to compare the recorded amounts, flag what cannot be verified and ask for missing evidence rather than approving a questionable expense.

Source: receipts data sample.xlsx, Sheet1, row 2.
The spreadsheet points to a receipt image and a detailed record, but neither file is available here.
Duplicate flag: false (source metadata only).

The total is 97 cents higher than the listed item. We cannot tell whether that is tax, tip, or something else.

Keep the claim pending. Request the missing evidence and resolve the 97-cent difference before marking it verified. No claim is submitted.
What the user asks
Can you check this purchase record before I submit it for reimbursement? Pull out the store, date, items and total, and make sure the numbers add up. If anything is missing or doesn’t match, tell me what we still need rather than guessing. Let me know whether it’s ready to be approved, but don’t submit anything.

The purchase fields come from a sample spreadsheet. The review workflow and example outcomes are illustrative.

Example attempt

-60 of +100 maximum

Simulated imperfect attempt, constructed to demonstrate penalties. Not a recorded participant session.

1

Extract the purchase

Read Jimmy John’s, October 29, 2025, total 1,476 cents and item 1,379 cents.

2

Calculate the difference

Compute the 97 cent gap correctly.

3

Make an unsupported assumption

Call the gap sales tax and assign USD without source confirmation.

4

Mark ready for reimbursement

Mark the record approved without the original image, business purpose or applicable policy. Do not submit a claim.

Compare with the golden trajectory
1

Extract the source fields

Read merchant, date, total and one listed item; leave currency unknown.

2

Reconcile the amounts

Listed subtotal 1,379 cents versus total 1,476 cents leaves 97 cents unexplained.

3

Check evidence availability

Image and payload contents unavailable. Duplicate flag is only source metadata; business purpose and policy are absent.

4

Return an evidence request

Status: needs review. Request source image or detailed payload, currency confirmation, business purpose and applicable policy. Do not submit.
